Thanks very much.Really like the sound you guys have got - nicely done mate. All the best with the radio opportunity.
No one took any notice when I put a youtube clip of Maker into 'what are you listening to?' thread a few years ago. I'm proud to say I got into their music several years ago, and they are great live. Gav is a fantastic drummer, I have to say. They are a terrific bunch of lads. Oh and I still have your 'best band ' award from the Exposure Music Awards that you won! (My husband and I, with a friend used to run these awards, and Maker were voted best band by independent music experts. Maker were also signed to our record label for a time, and performed at gigs we put on too). Good luck Gav, you deserve it!
Cheers Maz, I always said you had good taste! Always appreciated your time and effort with us.
Yeah, went really well thanks. Didn't get much time to speak about Spurs or football in general. It's quick paced and they move on fast. They've asked us to write some jingles for them to use on the show too, which is cool.
gavspur. You write the jingles, I've got the lyrics covered.
Arsenal are shit, Arsenal are shit, oh, oh, Arsenal are shit.
Maybe Durham would like that one mate.
Bumped because we've been asked back. We'll be on the same show (3am slot again) Sat 2nd september.
This time to promote our new single, Girl Quit Your Crying.. which was written cos I didn't water the flowers when she went on holiday... I kid.. It's much more serious than that.. The budgie escaped.
Anyhoo, any listens will be muchly appreciated. Cheers.
Hi all,
As some of you may remember, or may not, I am in a band. We have a new EP out at the moment and have been doing our press bits, magazines and radio etc, and now we've been confirmed for a live session on Talksport radio. 3 acoustic tracks and a chat about sport and music etc. Obviously I will be putting forward my love for all things Spurs. If you'd like to listen in, I shall put the link below. It's for next Friday night/Saturday morning, it's anlate/early one, but hopefully there will still be a few people tuned in. Insomniacs and truck drivers.
Cheers
