I found this large hardback book, compiled by Tim Hill, in the Aldi sale this week.
If there is one near you, I recommend you look for it and buy it if there are any left. It's 220+ pages of wonderful football photos taken from the Daily Mail archives with text added and it was originally £19.99. Aldi are selling it for £3.99 - a real bargain.
A feast of previously unseen photos, many of Spurs through the years and some real history in the pictures.
I'm finding it unputdownable and just love the material in it.
My first job was with Associated Newspapers in Fleet Street back in the mid-60s and one of my jobs was to clear out old glass negatives in the Mail's photo library. I found lots of Spurs photos and had them printed up, still have them to this day. So the photos in this book come from the same source, although now of course they've been relocated as Fleet Street is no more.
A real nostalgia treat this.
