I'd be interested in seeing something to back that statement up, but I'd be surprised. Despite what you might think, for international qualifiers, it simply didn't happen. He ranted about the games, but if the player wanted to play, he let them.

You're missing the point though, if a manager can convince a national coach that it's in the best interest of everyone that a player stays behind then the player isn't picked and FIFA has nothing to do with it.

It looked precautionary. He wasn't "out cold", just a bit dizzy. I can't imagine he'd miss any of our matches.
