Sissoko out? What monkeyfuckery is this?Lloris and Sissoko both unavailable for Watford.
I seem to be happier when Gazzaniga is in goals, I worry more either Vorm.
I personally don't get why people prefer Gazzaniga to Vorm. He was fine in the game he did play for us, but I watched him a few times for Saints and he was very shaky, hence why I was initially surprised we even went for him.
In fact all you have to do is read through Saints forums to see that even their opinion of him was quite low.
If you put lloris in the Southampton team, he wouldn't be the same player he is for us. I judge the player on how he plays for us and not another team with different players.
Seriously?but I watched him a few times for Saints and he was very shaky, hence why I was initially surprised we even went for him.
Seriously?
He has played 4 times for Saints since 2014 - when he was 22 - and in those 4 matches, you not only happened to watch, but actually remember? And have decided that he was "shaky" and not worth a spot as a 3rd Keeper?

Well yeah.... I'll be completely honest mate, I live in Southampton and I admit I don't remember exactly why I thought he was shaky, as in the very specifics but I just remember thinking it, speaking about it to my Southampton supporting friends and hoping that he'd stay in goal for them as I always wanted them to lose. Here are what Saints fans had to say and i'm not trying to start some sort of witch hunt against him, but I didn't think what I thought for no reason and I wasn't alone in thinking it. He may be completely different now, but when my memories of him aren't great (and admittedly not vast) forgive me for not being the most encouraged by him.
Saints fans:
Out of contract next summer and I will eat Paddy Ashdown's hat if he gets a new one.
Still not very good
His main weakness is that he is just poor. This is not based on yesterday but also Man City away last season where he (and Chambers) were dreadful.
I don't understand why he hasn't had at least a loan spell. I also never expected him to have as many first team performances as he does already, without first trying it out for smaller clubs. L2 to the PL is a massive jump.
Main strength: Fetching the ball from the back of the net.
Main weakness: Letting it get there.
Strengths: swarthy Latin looks. Good hair.
Weaknesses: Goalkeeping.
Strengths = he's a good looking lad
Weakness = being a goal keeper
Strengths - none
Weaknesses - Anytime a ball comes near him.
I don't like him. Not for me.
He's more athletic than Kelvin Davis and less crippled by injuries than Steckelenberg. But, he doesn't seem to have the mentality to concentrate for a whole game, and the degree of concentration required from a PL goalkeeper is exceptional.
He isn't good enough and we'd know by now if he was. Produces some good'ish performances but too many mistakes to be considered a top flight GK. Champ or league 1 is his level IMO.
Well I can't say you're flat out wrong as it's your opinion, but whether or not Lloris would be the same player, I still think you'd see his quality even in a lesser team. Plus in a lot of cases I agree, but that doesn't mean I'd be optimistic over the performance of say, Fraser Forster or Joe Hart if they signed for us, I'd be worried as fuck. I just find it odd especially as Vorm has performed solidly for the most part whenever he's featured for us and like said, Gazzaniga has only played once.
Kane got average to below-average reports from Orient fans last season. Poor touch and vision, looks slow, decision making a bit off. He got a decent return for them though, and seems to always score for the youth. Hopefully he's been improving fast. I wouldn't get too excited about him yet. There's a reason he hasn't got much of a look despite his goalscoring record. Also, he is a deep-lying forward so not exactly the saviour we are after.
He is a championship player at best, actually reminds me of ginger pele and Raziak.
He was billed with a fair amount of hype and so far hasn't lived up to it.
Different players develop and peak at different times. Kane got a chance in the Europa this season and didn't look ready. Off the pace, heavy touch and didn't impose himself up-front.
A couple of posts from the Kane thread from his first few games for us, couldn't find the Bale one or would have had more of the same.....
My point is players change and fans get it wrong also.
Better than Rob Green. What's so good about Gazzaniga? I know he played that one blinding match against Palace but other than that is he meant to be rated?
Ray Clemence was superb for Lollerpool, and even though he had his moments, he never quite had the same effect for us, and cost us a place in the Cup winners cup (or UEFA Cup) final or semi's v Barca
I can't really comment on that as it's before my time But I appreciate the info
I watched 2 of the games in the ICC, and Gazzaniga looked pretty good in his small amount of mins appearances. my own opinion was he looked better than Vorm
what makes a good keeper better is the 4/5 players just in front of him, and the quality of the keeping coaches
N'Koudou looked pretty good too But I get what you mean, you're entitled to your opinion
I didn't actually see him in goal there, and maybe he looked very reassuring! I can only go on what I have seen and know though.
and that's my point Southampton defence or Spurs defence, a big difference. their goalkeepers will always be busier than ours, which if there are any weaknesses will show up more.
