Give the job to Harry instead of crappy boring O'Neill and everything will be hunky dory. Or possibly Harry dory.

We simply just don't have the players. Much like England except worse. The only plus is we don't expect 1/4 as much of our team as England do.

We went backwards under Trap. Hopefully O'Niell can take us forward but we'll see.

Not much else out there that would be willing to take a risk managing Ireland I reckon. Harry couldn't do it either I'd say. No flair going forward, or any if his old pals to play for him.

He probably wouldn't even be able to get the best out of Aiden thinks he's Messi but really he's fucking shit McGeady either. Can't cross, shoot or dribble. Possibly even more infuriating than watching Lennon.

It wars a lot when Robbie Keane, who is one of my favourite ever players, is still out best striker even while playing in the MLS.

The best team I remember was in 2002 in Japan/Korea. It's so unfortunate that Roy Keane walked out on that team. We lost Spain on penalties, and had Roy been there I think we would have won the game without penalties. We could have beaten Korea in the QF and then who knows what would have happened vs Germany in the semi finals. We had already drawn with them after all. I always get a bit down thinking about what might have been for us had Roy been there.

Yep, will never forgive Roy for that. Disgrace to see someone who walked out of the team during a WC now sitting on the bench

Me too, I still can't stand him when he is a pundit, makes me sick to think as a captain you could walk out at a World Cup on your team mates, he truly let a nation down.
