No Bale on the pre season tour. Any idea how far from fitness he is ? I do hope he's not going to be another sicknote.

Well, I think that wanting to know why he has not played in any games so far is not pointless. Your post, I do agree, is pointless.

Bale is fit, but hasn't played for months and months. He needs to get more ball work in and football type movement before he is thrown into a game, makes sense to me that he hasn't featured. I'm more than happy to see him continue the strength and power work and spend time doing the technical footballing skills rather than take part in slow motion training ground friendlies against teams that are more likely to kick the players than the ball.
This training camp in Spain is two-fold for Bale, not just about getting sharpness and pre-season preperation, it is also about recovery from injury and so it is important not to over do it. Stick to the physical training and football in a controlled environment.
Same goes for Ledders.
