I think they everybody will start with a clean slate under Harry. If he thinks they can do a job for the team they will get a chance. This is a coach who had a defence including Pamarot, Linvoy Primus and Dejan Stefanovic and made them one of the best functioning tightest defences in the league.

I am sure a lot of the young players will benefit a lot (I'm thinking Bale, Gunter, Huddlestone, Lennon etc.) in learning more about what there roles are in the team and learning the art of that role. Bale for example has an abundance of talent, but it looks as though he has never been taught how to defend as a fullback. I expect that to change pretty quickly. We will be a team.

Some of the players who were previously unheralded may get a new lease of life as functional players to do a job around the more talented players. All teams need players who can just do a job and players like Rocha, Stalteri and Ghaly may well find they are called on at times to do their bit for the team. I imagine they will at least get an opportunity to show Harry what they can do.

I don't recall him saying he wanted to leave. He did an interview saying that he needed to leave because he didn't think he would get a chance to play for Spurs again, but he was respectful and professional.

That was not even funny!!!!!!:wink::wink::wink:

You have a nerve coming here and writing such toothless humour!

I think it is time you flossed out your old joke book and gave it a good long read. It might fill the gaps in your comedy repertoire.

The root of the problem here is that you need to nurse a joke. Am I gonna have to drill this into you?

Anyway I must brush off now as i'm off to Hampstead Heath :wink::wink::wink::wink::wink:

In any case, most overseas players have a few teething problems. We need to brace ourselves for the fact. He made a few, erm, incisor, runs.

So chew on that.

i think what he did was an absolute disgrace and amounted to indecent exposure. there were kids in the crowd that night and are no doubt emotionally scarred after that. He was half naked for gods sake

won't somebody please think of the children. If we had Wenger as our manager we wouldn't have to worry about that

Nothing to forgive in my book.

He's better than Zokora, so he should be in the squad. Simple.

Like i said in another topic, he is very much like Samuel Eto'o in terms of attitude.

Not the most likable fellow, hates it when he plays badly, throws a hissy fit when he is substituted, but by damn the guy can put a shift in. The sort of player who isnt Mr Popular off the pitch but on it he gives a sense of drive and determination that is infectious to his teammates.

Thats very much how Ghaly is in my book.

Not even bothered about Ghaly, although he is a good squad player if hit by serious injuries.

I think Rocha will benefit most from all this and actually move ahead of Dawson in the CB pecking order. Especially as 'arry' whitnessed Dawson mare of a performance first hand at Fratton Park. I noticed that when asked about the CB problems on sunday, Harry mentioned Corluka, Woody, and King but not a word about Dawson. Hopefully he's finally been found out.

Harry's done well with our unwanted players in the past. This time he doesn't even have to pay for them. I can see them all getting minutes this season, and there is certainly room for the experience of Rocha and Salty in our squad as we fight our way out of the relegation zone.

Goal against Chelsea.

Shirty.

3 pros -1 con.

Yeah, put him in, I reckon the boo-boys will still have a go though.

This whole Ghaly episode was blown out of proration by most Yids. My wish is that we draw a line under the whole sorry affair and start a collection to get him a gold set of teeth to commemorate his heroic 'do or die' displays in the past. Besides, he is a fierce fighter....if a little OTT, at times. 'Turn the other cheek TIME'? COYS!

never had a problem with him and really hope he gets back in the squad, might make some of our other places look and see what they have been missing!
