If we can't get all Scouse about a homegrown striker electing to stay at Spurs rather than move to Utd, then what is the point....of anything?

Absolutely but let's just not overdoo it. We love him, he apparently loves the club, good times.

Being realistic I don't think that there is anyway he will stay at the club if we are just doing the old 5th or 6th, winning nothing groundhog day routine. He already joined Arsenal because he wanted to play, so clearly being a fan will not cloud his judgement if/when he has to make a decision about moving on.

he was like 6 or something.

I don't "love" Kane. Then again, both sides of my family are from cultures in which you don't say "love" unless you are practically engaged.
Try to match that with American in-laws. :cautious:
Anyway.
Kane will have a good season next season.

Ian Darke was commentator for last nights U21's game. Harry had a slight chance 2nd half when Alex Pritchard did well to find him in the box, one touch & a shot later(sadly down the keepers throat) Ian Darke said something like "A month ago they were all going in" The media ****'s & half the PL fans are desperate for Harry to be a one season wonder. They are positively cueing up for it. I am desperate for him to shut them up next Season. As for his quotes after the game you can't help but feel proud to have him here. He's one of our own.

Lucky he hasn't had an injury from that ;)

Today's hero is tomorrow's villain, let's see what happens when he has a dry spell or a bad season. Lots of people couldn't wait for Townsend to come back to us when he was at QPR now many people want him sold after just one season.

Kane on... being one of their own: "I respect all of the supporters and I have a great relationship with them. I think they appreciate a home grown player and we’ve got a few in the team. It’s incredible to hear them sing my name like they do and hopefully it will be the same next season. I will keep scoring and they will keep singing!"

Kane on... Tottenham: “Team spirit is great. We have a great understanding with each other and a lot of us have known each other for a long time, especially the young lads.

Kane on... being a role model: "I want to be a good role model for kids growing up - to be someone who kids can relate to and aspire to be.

Kane on... being a leader: “I’m not afraid to tell people what to do and encourage them along the way, but we’ve got plenty of leaders in the team.

"The manager has been great," Kane, who is currently with England at the European Under-21 Championships, told Goal.

"He's worked a lot on me physically and individually. He's done a lot of extra sessions to help me with my movement and my finishing and things like that.

"We will continue to do that so I can hopefully get better."

He added: "I still do work on my finishing after training. I do it every day. I think it's important to keep practicing and improve.

"I've had that attitude since a young age - to work as hard as I can. I will always continue to do that.

"The manager has done a great job this year. He's used a lot of young players and that's a great starting point. Everyone is fully behind the coach and he's behind the players."
