Thing is though, you can't trust Barca fans when talking about a player that might be leaving.

For example loads of our fans are now saying Berbatov only plays at 75%, he sulks, he unsettles the team etc...

yes but its true! he does sulk, he does unsettle the team!

Only games that stand out for me are Bolton and cc final, it was awesome to see him clap the missed passes and actually work for the team, sadly he doesnt do that every week!

Imho, i wouldnt mind seeing him leave for £30mil, we could bring in someone who maybe has less skill/finnesse but actually works for the team, ala Keano, week in week out.

course i want him to stay but he would need to change his attitude!

Is he really that much better than Defoe? Could he replace berbatov or be another player to rival keanes position?

Not in a million years would Eto'o come to Tottenham. He's probably only heard of us because of the rise of the great Berb one.

He can go anywhere else in the world. Why here?

It's impossible in my books.

I don't like that fact that it's now out in the open, i'm sure Levy and co would have preferred this to be kept quiet, wait and see the other clubs come in fro him now, we won't get him.

What a stupid post. You do realise that we are world famous? You do realise that we totally reinvented club football in the 1960s and that we have previously been held up as a shining example of beautiful football (especially in Spain, and more specifically in Madrid - where he has played).

Why would anyone have heard of us because of Berbatov? - He is just some bulgarian fella who plays well for a team you have never heard of.

Indeed. But how can such a small club like us, one thats never been heard of be in the top 15 richest clubs in the world?

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Are you Bulgarian by any chance?

He almost moved to us before choosing Barca... he even dedicated a goal to us while he was at Mallorca in pre-season, just before he was about to sign for us...

We've also been an ever present in the world's most watched league... we're the 14th richest club in the world... in the early 60's Spurs WERE football... Ardieles(sic), Villa, Hoddle, Ginola, Sheringham, Klinsman, Linkear...

:bang:

Some people

And in addition dedicated a goal scored to the Tottenham fans while playing for Barca or Mallorca.

was an international game against england wasnt it?

Yep, for Cameroun before the 2002 WC when we were still hurting from Sol Campbell's defection. I think he nutmegged Judas in the build-up and said it was for Spurs fans.

Get him on board
