I have missed 'Diarra done deal' or the phrase 'done deal' for anyone. When is Villa coming?

I was waiting for the ITK's to start coming out with Defoe, Diarra and Crouch. Even possibly Johnson and Distin.

I don't mean this to bash any ITK at all, but this weekends activity proves beyond any doubt that no-one knows what is actually going on behind the scenes. And anyone who may have had contacts, has probably been sacked anyway.

Saying Diarra/defoe or any pompey player is too obvious for it to be anything other than a blatant guess.

I'm sorry but how can this possibly be true so soon? Harry has only just joined us. This person is probably just speculating and assuming that because we have plenty of money and we know that Portsmouth are willing sellers that any future deals with them are simply a formality.

It's no different to the idiots who write for the red tops. Anyone could have written that because it's all just based on some very obvious assumptions.

Very predictable ITK. I thought Diarra's deal was meant to happen in the last window.

I'll take a wild guess and say that Diarra will most likely end up at Real Madrid, Barcelona or Juventus next.

Both Diarra and Defoe would be great signings, and both seem highly plausible, Defoe more so perhaps.

I think Diarra could definitely be on. He wanted to move to a bigger club, he likes playing under Harry and also I believe he's got some kind of clause in his contract.

definitely a prolem position and definitely one of the better players to fill it.

Defoe yes......but for cheaper. Diarra yes. The rest absolutely not (especially the beanpole).

Why do we always assume a new manager will bring players from his former club? They are the club most likely to avoid dealing with us after taking their manager.

I just got some ITK from my dad who says he has an inside source, he says that Santa Claus is not real.

Well Harry sign a DM, LM and FW at Christmas and attack all our problem positions in one fell swoop. I'm not sure I like that idea, it would give us fewer excuses as to why we're not performing

Is Diarra actually a DM? He is a tough tackler and disciplined enough to play there but I had his 'natural' position as more a box to box player (when he got the red card against us he was pretty far down the pitch, he also scored a few for Pompy last year). Not that that's a problem if he is good enough.
