At least one more to come. We are still trying to offload Routledge, Murphy, Gardner (but injured), Daniels (loan), O'Hara (loan), Mido and possibly one more higher profile— don't know who but not Defoe! Davies is a goer but Newcastle and Arsenal still interested—Jol sees him as cover at right back also. We still may make a move for a left winger (don't know who). It depends on what we generate from sales. (1/8)

[WBA?] will announce within 72 Hours who Curtis Davies can speak to re a transfer. There are three teams who have made bids—us being one. We haven't offered anywhere near what they want but they are interested in taking one or two of ours as a makeweight. Spurs don't know who the other two clubs are but have been told there is competition.

Davies wants to come to London. Jol sees him as CB and RB cover and one for the future. (3/8)

What disturbs me most about this load of old tosh is that I guessed at the end of last season that we'd just bring in some more talented youngsters to strengthen the squad.I mentioned Bent, Bale, Kaboul, Reo-Coker as the most likely targets we had been linked with.A couple of months later I have a better record than this lot all put together.So educated guessing based on our transfer policy, combined with likely available targets, is more useful than our entire 'ITK' community.Well done ss57, by documenting all their comments they can finally be seen as the frauds that most of us suspected them to be.

Probably Hoofhearted, although he did have the altogether unfair advantage of actually knowing Bent and his family. After that, Dragon1. But really, most of the stuff was very vague, and the 'done deals' on Bent and Kaboul were way wide of the mark. But I'll do a full write-up over the next couple of days.
