Just wanted to say that after all the shit we've been through and all the disappointment over the years, it's finally starting to really look up for us.

Tonight was awesome to be a Spurs fan. Coming back like we did to earn a semi final spot. Having our 4th spot cemented thanks to Citeh being headcases.

I FUCKING LOVE SPURS!

4th and the FA Cup in 2010.

COYS!

Big up to all those who went and supported the team tonight, you guys were top notch

Why are midweek games more vocal? (maybe that's just how it appears on T.V)

Cheers fella! It was great fun and, once it got going in there tonight, the atmosphere was fantastic.

I love White hart Lane when it's like that. Such a cauldron of noise!

Not just the success but also the rollercoaster ride we go through every week. I've often thought it must be slightly boring being a fan of a team that wins all the time & always expects success & as such, being a Spurs fan makes me happy for the sheer chaotic beauty that we bring to the game, whether on the pitch or in the boardroom.

My two loves are Spurs & music & for me, the two passions are inextricably linked - I admire talent, grit, beauty, virtuosity, cohesion & genius, whether it comes from a group of musicians or my beloved Spurs...

I confess that Ive been becoming a bit disllusioned with trekking down to the lane every week just to suffer through 90 minutes of waiting for it all to go wrong but tonight reminded me why it is I do it.

At times its horrid but just occasionally it crystalises into pure unadulterated joy which not even a three hour drive through the pouring rain, up the big stretch of roadworks which passes for the M1, can dampen.

Of course its all gonna go wrong, its Spurs! But by hell we'll have fun along the way!

Wembley here we come!

Couldn't agree more. It's the shit times that made nights like tonight that bit more special.

Lasagne Gate.
2 points 8 games.
3rd round FA Cup exit in 04 (I think)
Not beating the scum for 10 years.
Not beating Utd for a similar period.

Going through all that crap just makes this little run of success such a beautiful thing.

I couldn't think of anything worse than being a plastic Manc and think 'oh, just another trophey' when they won the League Cup.

Being a Yid is better than any rollercocaster I've ever been on. Long may it continue!

Tonight was just superb, great atmosphere, great comeback and a great singalong in the pub and train after the game.

It just seems like everything is coming together, despite the injuries, and we are in a great position to blast through the remaining games of the season.

Every year we say, 'this will be the year', this time it might just well be.

I just got from an all day sail fishing trip, which incidentally was excellent catching 10 sailfish and 2 x 40lb mahi mahi's, and laid myself comfortably in a hammock watching on ESPN a repeat of today's game. Armed with a beer in my hand and some local weed I couldn't believe our luck as Zamora scored although, deep down, this time, I knew we would come back and boy did we come back!!!!!!!!!!
Inspirational substitutions by 'Arry after what must have been one hell of a dressing room bollocking at half time produced results, may I say it, that until now I was more accustomed to seeing from the team of the 60's and 70's!!!!!!
We are back.............. and with a bang. We are the form team of the moment and long may it continue.
We now know how to beat those teams that park the bus and we now know how to beat those teams that like to play a little, teams that want to give us a game and not just a battle......and guess what we've now got a set of balls to go along with all those other adjectives that we old timers remember so well.
Also what a huge difference the Hudd made when he came on, he quickly began spraying passes long and short everwhere as he also covered every blade of grass during the second half.
This was a team to be proud of, a night to remember, a night where we went up a notch from good to very good, in every aspect of the game.
Well done 'Arry, you are our special one for restoring our team into one that made music, very sexy music, tonight.

QUE VIVA LOS SPURS

I loved Arry's comment "the natives get a bit restless here if you aren't winning 3 or 4 nill after 20 minutes".

I guess we set ourselves a higher standard than most clubs which is often frustrating but make nights like tonight all the sweeter.

Sorry you negative nancy. Perhaps cemented was a little strong. But surely you can't doubt that our grip on 4th is much tighter after tonight's results?

And surely you could have allowed today to be one of celebration and positive thinking?

I cant decide what im more excited about..... Potentially finishing 4th, a cup final, or the chance that IF we get to Wembley on May 15th it just might be enough to tempt the mighty chas & dave out of retirement to do our cup final song. What a dream.. haha :):):)
