I think alot people here are taking too much of DL's comments and managed to convince themselves this was are only option

IF we said last year NDP was not financially viable and that the olympic stadium was not a backup but our first option we might not got the planning permission

Remember most politician's are just a bunch of ass kisser's who do not want to take responsibility for their actions

SO if we went with a stadium with planning permission and that was financially viable, they would argue we were moving to the east end just for the money and it would be easier to turn us down because we have a plan B

I still think we will stay in tottenham and this was probably used as a ploy to buy some land and get funding from Haringey like west ham

I also think DL didn't want WH the only bidders for the OS and made the bid so that neither of us got the bid so that we wouldn't have to compete with them and the Emirates for the Prawn Sandwich brigade

Oh well in that case we probably have nothing to worry about.

I don't think we'll ever get funding from Haringey, you can forget that.

Potentially there could be room for negotiation with the compulsory purchasing of land we need for the NDP I guess.

Let's hope we haven't completely fucked off Haringey though.

Haringey's been totally fucked over by the cuts.

Once Levy commits to the NPDP, Haringey will wham in the CPOs. The three businesses holding out could, in theory, appeal, but it will cost them a shedload, so rather than enrich their lawyers they'll take the money and run. Unless they're mental.

Fucked off, yes. Completely fucked off, no.
