Chelsea have Kante, Jorginho, Barkley, Drinkwater, Fabregas, and Bakayoko already without signing anyone. To bring anyone in they have to offload. Especially if they want to bring in Kova. Doubt Bakayoko going has anything to do with Grealish.

It's pretty unusual to be allowed for the player to have a medical before first agreeing a fee, so something doesn't seem quite right. Either us and Villa have virtually agreed or another club has had a bid accepted(which we could still match)

He plays a part the way all the numpties on talksport do. Thing is, main reason they pick on him is because he’s the one who wasn’t ever a player yet he knows much more than them. Note that it’s Brazil, Barton, Quinn etc who take the piss, not Durham, Matterface or Kelly.

As a fan, yes pay whatever I don't give a shit. Get the player. That said we've had multiple ITKs say or theorize Grealish is not our first choice, we just perked up when Villa hit financial difficulties and thought we could move quickly and cheap.

If we get him, great. I think he'll be a decent signing. If, god forbid, Chelsea swoops and he goes there to be sucked into their blackhole of English talent that barely make the bench for cup games then so be it. Was nice knowing him.

I've read that Grealish is a CM, an AM, and a winger. Can anyone who's seen him a lot reliably confirm where he can plays, and is best? I desperately want a good CM but I'm not sure he's it.

He mainly works with the former three on breakfast hence the higher ratio of piss taking. I still get the sense he is a fool who knows very little and speculates more than anything else.
