He's their player so they can play him and as he's a Villa boy he is unlikely to feign injury because he might be leaving.

Agreed but he needs to add a further 20% to his game to be at a top level. Plenty of potential but plenty of work to do
Think you'll see a massive different when you;
a) put him around good players
b) put him with a good manager
He'll either look fantastic or he'll be completely out of his depth. Sometimes I really like him, other times I'm worried he's a bit of a playground footballer
That's how I see him playing for us. I think he would be a great player in the transition as he has excellent awareness, technical ability and can skip past players.Villa are set up exactly as they were for the second half of last season, in a 4-1-4-1, with Whelan as the DM and Grealish central next to Hourihane.
So, Grealish is playing as an attack-minded CM, with protection behind him, rather than a number 10.
