When you watch Villa play, absolutely everything creatively goes through him. Take him out of that side and they're a bottom half Championship team.

I think he's great, just playing in a very poor side where nobody else is on his wavelength.

I like him I do want him part of our squad but I'd also like to put his worth ethic and ability to constantly want the ball under the spotlight. He's pretty languid and to be a top level player and get away with that you need to be a top top player.

The good thing about him is his instinctive ability to win free kicks when people are on him. He'd definitely win us a lot of free kicks instead of getting swallowed up by the speed of e prem when he first dips his toe in

That's how I see him playing for us. I think he would be a great player in the transition as he has excellent awareness, technical ability and can skip past players.

Especially since he has the technical ability & confidence to receive the ball in tight areas.

Looked decent so far, seems to get taken down quite a lot. Enough of him though this Frazier Campbell bloke looks the real deal

Our scouts are on full alert tonight. When Fraiser Campbell and Alan Hutton return to Spurs on Friday, I’m done.

pretty sure his socks are even lower than they were last season.

I'd like him more if he pulled his socks up in all honesty. I don't know if he rates himself too much to be prepared to have the capacity to want to learn the important stuff.

Also one thing that's struck me watching this game is he gets away from players initially but gets fouled. I'm starting to question if he looks for the foul instead of trying to get away from the player more. It's a good skill to have but not if you look for the foul all the time. He needs to demonstrate that he's got the killer pass and I'm just not seeing it enough. He really does have a long way to go even though he has a fair bit of natural talent

I remember him saying in an interview when he first broke into the Villa side as a teenager that he rolled his socks down to show the opposition that even though he was skinny and young, he wasn’t scared of them or to get stuck in...

Guess it’s just become a habit/superstitious thing now

Maybe he gets forward, looks up, doesn't see any good players in front of him, so buys a foul

If he signs and does well for us he can wear his socks on his hands for all I care.
He's obviously a prospect signing, talented but will need to step up. I rate him and want us to sign him as I think he's naturally got the foundations he just need a good manager to help him fulfil his potential. The movement our players possess is another planet to Villa, allowing him to express himself more easily. I think he'd be a good signing, hope we get it done.

Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. This is all part of the risk weigh up the Spurs hierarchy need to consider.

I think he's worth a move, when you have clear talent you should get the chance to demonstrate it and learn but there are still a lot of question marks over him. He's a punt that could come good, that's how I see him at the moment but a punt the club should be absolutely taking as if things click with him he could become a genuinely class player.

£25m is probably my top bracket that I feel is worth investing, purely because if he doesn't make have the guts or guile to make it we can probably sell him off to Derby County etc in a couple of years. He's 22, with plenty of room to grow but he's really got some question marks over him, possibly because of his ceiling, possibly because of the team he's in at the moment

Watch how much he runs off the ball compared to someone like Eriksen. He's having a bit of a cameo game tonight, a lot of walking and trotting about. He doesn't pass and move, he definitely needs to improve his mentality a fair bit unless he's being told to play like this of course
