Jamie Redknapp: Cristian Romero will become 'one of the best defenders in the world'

Jamie Redknapp is absolutely convinced that Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero will become one of the best central defenders in the world in a few years’ time.
Spurs signed the talented Argentine on loan from Atalanta last year. He impressed at the start of last season, but then suffered an unfortunate injury. However, he was incredible after his return, and Redknapp clearly is a huge fan.

Already is, key player in Argentina winning Copa America (first one since 1993, and they did it against Brazil in Brazil!), plus Seria A defender of the year. If he can be bit more careful and improve in air (especially against set pieces) he will be perfect.
