Well the fact the player has chosen us puts us in position A. Which is good.

I find it a bit odd that PSG with all their money are interested in him.

The fact they don't have a coach should help us (though admittedly I'm using logic as part of my argument!)

Buy them both (Janssen & Sanabria) if we're not getting Michy.
And do it quick!
Depends on the price of course but this sounds like a good idea. We need at least one new striker and seem to keep missing out on targets. We missed the second Dembele and Michy so let's make sure we get at least one of these two. Both wouldn't be a bad plan, it's tough for youngsters coming in from abroad so if one doesn't settle right away we have another option. Assuming Poch wants them both and there's a deal to be done.

it would not surprise me for stoke to have a bid of 17 million accepted for berahino and we match it and the player chooses us.

I'm sure that's gonna help your cause
True, but it's frustrating that it appears we lose so many targets by taking too long arguing over that final part of a price and lose to someone willing to pay the going rate. The wages saved on scouting and negotiating on the next player or 5 would be saved paying the extra in the first place and my first post was just venting a little on that. It is a valid whinge and it's boring when you get certain people who just continually spam posts.

Not spam but was nonsense.

You don't know what is holding up the deal. If AZ believe Utd are going to come in with a higher bid they will wait it out.

But you have decided to take it out on Levy somehow being tight despite not knowing the situation.

Obviously someone will come out with a bigger bid for their leagues top scorer and don't all reports point to them looking for a certain figure which is around half that of Batshuayi? Couldn't this have been sorted before utd were showing interest? I might not know intimately the situation but this is like a broken record so it must be a little to do with Levy whatever you think. I'm a levy fan, think he's done wonders but this finalising of deals is frustrating whether or not I'm right about his stinginess.

At this stage most of the transfers going through are free transfers, players with release clauses and those paying way over the odds.

AZ have a young players scoring a lot of goals. They are going to get a lot of interest and they are hardly going to sell him to us for £15m if they believe a club like Utd are preparing a higher bid.

The Levy jab in this case isn't based on anything and it gets a bit tiring reading fans take shots at our chairman all thetime, especially before the fact happens.

The point is if we think he's the man, pay the asking price as we have been messing around trying to get a
Striker for far too long. If we are talking about a couple of mil.

Sorry but don't agree with this waiting for united stuff.
They- AZ -have a price, which united may pay - not more-we have relatively penny pinched and have allowed the others in.
It's said that we have made four offers starting at 8 million- pathetic if true - in this case I blame Levy
