Maybe he was still playing for the last couple of years, but he was just putting his late-Spurs levels of anonymity into all his performances.

I've been wondering what actually happened as he's not past it age wise at all and I hadn't heard any announcement.

Maybe he was in the same boat as Owen Hargreaves. Conttact ran out and no new clubs?

I was sure he'd make a comeback to reclaim his Scapegoat title after the emergence of Tom Carroll. Disappointed (n)

On his day Jenas could be a fantastic player, such a shame that day only came around once or twice a season
Against Arsenal, usually.

I also thought he'd retired.. hence, MOTD. Oh well, more time for that now!
