Pleased to have seen his debut (2 goals v Portsmouth), his unveiling on his return and the Premier League farewell. Lots of goals, many great moments and a little bit of frustration of not quite reaching all he could have done - there was a regular 20 goal a season striker in there potentially (Sums spurs up a treat I suppose).
I'm sure he will score for fun in the MLS - Good Luck JD and hope you get another WC chance this summer

Might as well give him a full 90 minutes against Cardiff. Our season's already pretty much over, so at least it will give the fans something to sing about.

I think the last day he is with us if Friday (end of the month) so will be away by the time we play Cardiff

There is no way he will be playing any part against Cardiff in my opinion, Toronto would never allow it.

His last game with us if selected is Thursday. His record of 143 goals in 243 starts is decent

I hope he gets some game time against Dnipro just so that he can have a proper send off. He's got his faults and at times has been infuriating to watch, but at times he's provided some bloody good goals and done well over his Spurs career. Good luck JD. (y)

Thank g0d that's not possible! Flying in for my first Spurs since beating Blackburn at home in the Champions League season and i do not want to have to spend it watching Defoe

Thank you for posting that, really great!

I for one will be sad to see JD go, at a time when people are complaining that there's no relationship between players and the fans we are waving off a player who's been a real servant to the club and leaves with great numbers.

Good work.
Just one edit to suggest, it should be Martin Peters in the all time UEFA scorer list in stead of Alan.
Probably Gilzean's first name that got stuck there.
