Don't think there was any doubt he had ability but he was just so inconsistent. All the best to him.

He had to go because he just was no longer part of our squad and did not feature so just a drain on our resources

It's not at all a surprise to see him doing well at QPR though because he was always a very talented player and capable of better than he achieved in my opinion

He's a better player than Hudd and maybe even Parker is now days but no I wouldn't take him back because he needed to be sold for good reason, he simply was no longer a productive member of our squad

I think we have better players now. I'd rather develop the talents of Siggy and Holtby than get Jenas back. It's better for Jenas to be playing every week, too. He wouldn't get that with us.

Personally, I hope he helps keep QPR in the Premier League and has good seasons for them in the future.

Of course, I hope he doesn't have the greatest games of his career against us, but keeping up his decent record against Arsenal would be nice.

Jenas is a decent player who will do well at another club, but we aspire to more these days and needed to move him on. Hudd will be next along with a few others no doubt.

It was the same when we sold Bent. Lo and behold he scored goals for his new team playing every week as a striker OMG !! Mates would say to me why did you sell Bent he's scoring goals ? Of course he is, he's a striker, but we aspired for something better ! In this case, maybe we didn't get it but when you look at Bent right now the situation is all round bad for all parties
