When you say should we consider, do you mean we the fans who have no say?

I'd take anyone barring some sportswashing propaganda machine, which actually probably rules out anyone who could afford us.

Plus, just trust me, Ineos would be fucking dreadful. Jim would run us into the ground, his modus operandi is to buy failing assets and milk them until they die.
As someone who came across JR's companies during a long career in the chemical industry, I would previously have been inclined to agree.
However, last summer, I was talking to an old friend who knows JR well from their time together at London Business School in the early 1980s. His view was that Jim is able to compartmentalise his life, keeping his business interests competely seperate from what he considers to be his leisure activities, which already include British Cycling, the Admirals Cup yachting etc.
At the time, this observation really surprised me, but I have to admit that the British Cycling team doesn't seem to have to rely on patched-up bikes and second-hand boats!
Putting that to one side, it seems far more likely that he'll buy Manchester United than Spurs.
