Unfortunately that's unlikely as it's a severe stroke

I hope he makes a full recovery

The fact he's in intensive care isn't a good sign. We can only pray and hope that he pulls through.

Hope he gets through this with his wits and mobility intact.
Has his Hall of Fame thing been done?

Terrible news. Good luck Jimmy. We know you are a fighter. The football world and Tottenham Hotspur would not be the same without you.

Really bad news.. a severe stroke is usually ischemic part of the brain, very serious. It will take a fair bit of time for him to recover use of speech & mobility. he may not remember recent events, but long term memory events still there. I have had a close family member suffer this type of stroke, I hope it is not that bad for Jimmy.. Get well soon

We were about to get our Jimmy back. No matter how long it takes, I pray that he will eventually be well enough to make the Hall of Fame.

I remember, as a very young lad.. watching on black & white TV Jimmy G. scoring a goal in a 2-1 win over a rest of world team including Pele i think...at Wembley. Top class striker, made goal scoring look easy.. which is what classy players do.

Alas not yet. Perhaps we don't need to wait so long to honour someone like Jimmy. If we'd done it 20 years ago I'm sure nobody would have complained it was too soon. I hope one day we can do the induction but I fear it won't be next week now. Good luck Jimmy.

Sadly today, Jimmy's wife Irene said it will be a long time for Jimmy to recover, just as I had thought.. :-(
