Bale is miles better than Abidal or Maxwell..

Calm down, Maxwell is pretty sturdy defensively even if he has the appearance of a gay baby. I'm convinced Barca only bought Abidal to keep things interesting though, he is an atrocious footballer.

If Bale went to Barca opposition sides would target him as a weak link defensively and he'd probably get ripped a new arse with no one supporting him down that side. The thought of him linking up with Iniesta and Pedro in attack is pretty delicious though. Imagine having Bale and Alves on the wings, you could play everyone else through the middle.

Filipe Luis would be a good choice for LB, cannot believe how quickly he recovered from that leg break, but he was immense for Depor before that.
