This is not a transfer rumour by the way. But this guy was awesome for Portugal yesterday. Played the deep lying midfield role excellently and was a threat breaking forward too. IMHO would be an excellent addition to our squad.

Most of his videos show him scoring goals but his game seems to be about more than that for sure.

He's been linked before and is easily at home as wide MF. Could be Spurs' RMF with dos Santos on the left and Modric as playmaker.
However, I would never base a purchase on Euro 2008. F.ex. Baros was one of the stars in Euro 2004.
But this player his known for his maturity and "good attitude".
