I personally think he's good solid player actually & i do think he is better than some players we have i would certainly play him before Paulinho,Townsend,Capoue & Lamela for a start.

I might get shot for saying this but I would rather have shelvey than Eriksen, Eriksen is good but way too light weight for us he works hard but that just detracts from his game, Shelvey made good progress last season worked a lot harder and the lads got great vision and passing range which we need.

Maybe Shelvey isn't the answer but I agree there are better players than Eriksen and apart from the odd free kick, offers very little during the bulk of the game - going missing for large parts. I wouldn't be too disappointed if he went for big money somewhere,

His not game changer, not a player that could bring something different to the lane, I don't see this as a moving forward purchase. His a decent player for Swansea, so lets leave him there.

With the possible exception of Lamela, that's not really saying much though is it.
You obviously don't rate him too highly......

Same as me.

Played with Jonjo when he was at charlton. Very good player.

Technically better than Mason and would rather have him in the squad than Paulinho and Capoue.

Yeah I wouldn't disagree with this I just think if we had both in the squad tomorrow I would probably pick Shelvey over Eriksen, Eriksen is frustrating undoubtably talented but better suited to slower less physical leagues.

Excellent, energetic player and his all action style would fit in well with Mauricio's system.
