I disagree, No hugo means no push for 3rd and it means a scrap for 4thIf Hugo is missing for the run in you can kiss goodbye to 4th

I know as spurs fans we like to say we are DOOOOOOMMMMMMMED, but I think we are in for a close test between ourselves and Arsenal, who aren't as good as they were last seasonNope. No Hugo is 'Inter away' disastrous. We'll do well to get 5th without him.
Funny how people are bricking it but at the start of the season people thought we should play Friedel until he made a massive cock up.
If Lloris was really injured wouldn't we bring back Gomes rather than a untried keeper?

Funny how alot of you are slagging off Friedel. No one seems to mention the 2 cock ups Hugo has made.

Definitely Brad. It's not even in question. The only reason Brad and Hugo swap is so Brad can get games. It's not because we're worried about overplaying one. Brad can easily handle the two.We can't bring Gomes back, an international loanee cannot be recalled outside of a transfer window!
What intrigues me is who will play in the Europa League, Brad or Archer?
Against Liverpool away, and in the Europa cup against Maribor I think it was , both occasions he could of lumped the ball into row z, and cost us 2 goals. Let me get this straight, I love Hugo and think he's one of the best in Europe, my previous post was more to highlight that EVERY keeper makes mistakes, and that I think some of the criticism of Friedel on here is abit harsh. He hasn't made any cock ups that I'm aware of
No way was he at fault for the Liverpool goal. If Walker had played that suicide pass along the ground, Lloris would've been able to reach the ball, boot it away and cover Walker's balls up. As it happened, Walker decided it to balloon it through the air, so Lloris had to charge out of his goal, with a Liverpool player charging after the ball as well. He didn't have the time to judge how and when to get real contact on the ball, he literally just had to try and get something on the ball and hope for the best.Against Liverpool away, and in the Europa cup against Maribor I think it was , both occasions he could of lumped the ball into row z, and cost us 2 goals. On both incidents I mentioned, the passes to him were awful, but he could have lumped both into row z in my opinion. No way was he at fault for the Liverpool goal. Go and watch them back, on both occasions he tried to take a touch when he didnt need to. As for your Gomes argument I could say your seeing things through Lloris tinted glasses. Anyway I'm gonna end this discussion with you now, as people who jump into to this thread will think I'm slating Lloris, which I'm not. I was just pointing out that even the best keepers make mistakes, and that in my opinion Friedel is still a good keeper, which he showed vs Swansea.Sorry but this is how it started with Gomes. People went back and started to rewrite history and label anything he might have stopped as a clanger. Then the fans stopped supporting him and the rest is history. Same thing happened with Robbo. Our fans just have a history of not supporting players, at least goalkeepers.
To say he could have lumped it into row z is ridiculous. Firstly the player was right on top of him and he had to sprint out of goal to even get there. He should be getting praised for almost rescuing a bad situation. It wasn't perfect but under the circumstances we couldn't ask for much more. I don't even remember the Maribor thing so that shows you how much that mattered.
