From Snarf's analysis of him he sounds completely different. He said he had a high work rate and is a proper box-to-box type player. Is confused.

Slow? think you are looking at the wrong player, I know he has his moments when he'll have a stroll but he is fantastic the way he gets up and down the pitch, that's one thing that to me is so good about his game, he can be up pushing an attack on minute and if the opposition hit a quick counter he'll be back getting a tackle in at the other end. I like Tommy for his passing and the speed in which he can see and play a pass but comparing him to a box to box mid like Strootman is way off the mark

Strootman is like a diet Stevie G but with good defensive responsibility, still a big step up from the Dutch league to the EPL and i wouldn't back him to have an outstanding first season, but he has the quality to become a superb player..
