If we get back in the CL then it will have been a good season.
He would have proved quite a few people wrong.
But he has to do it first before he starts bragging.

The jury is still out on JM but can't help but agree with what's he's saying here. The questions and attitudes he gets's from some interviewers is ridiculously patronising. Whoever the kn*b is that the official Spurs channel gets to interview him is the worst. He acts like he knows the game better than somebody who is incredibly successful at ACTUALLY DOING THE JOB. Alex Fergusson wouldn't have put up with that crap. I wish JM would put a few of them in their place.

For someone that was apparently on the brink of being sacked and then one match later to be top of the Premier League form table.......
....don't pay attention to the media too much

This is the problem with 24/7 need for news..there isn't always news. So anything said at any time is trotted out in some forum, sports news show and everyone starts talking, tweeting phoning in about a non story.

The same thing happened with Bale this week. The narrative is changed and people pick up the ball and run with it.

People do discuss rocket science with NASA. Besides the fact that the comparison of success in a child's game with advanced physics belies the point, the director of NASA does not go around declaring himself The First True Martian or something. The Nasa Director is also aware that his job hangs in the balance, and his work alone was not the cause of success.

But since he brought it up, it was whistle blowing peons who uncovered the o-ring failure that caused the Challenger to explode, something that the NASA managers were responsible for, and a shuttle which Mourinho's tenure seemingly ressembles.

Yeah but it wasn't Derek the postman who discovered it. It was people in the know (ITK) a huge difference than you or me saying "oops shouldn't let a woman drive".

We all have opinions on how football should be played but have no idea how it is at professional level. I've coached and refereed at lower league but didn't come under the scrutiny that these people do. If I got it wrong so what. It's not that important in the grand scheme of things.

Doherty may not be the best defender in the world but when thousands of people in this country have died recently...who really cares? NOT ME.

International football = Slow news week.
Same every time.
Off topic but I just watched 5min of news on Bristol protest. The presenter announced 10 arrests and then asked a question. Policeman confirmed 10 arrests... but 3 were from last Sundays protest!!!
Oh. So there were actually 7. So why not say fkin 7? Why does everything have to be sensationalised worse than it is? Wrong thread but does your head in. Do they think we're all so thick we dont notice?
Blasts critics. May be mildly interesting if he'd actually gunned down some critics.
