Agree!

BUT, this loss is probably the best thing that could've happened to us.............hear me out!!
We've been playing a very possession-heavy, yet non-effective style of bland football and our results were really only masking our problems - however now that a team has shown up our weaknesses, hopefully just hopefully it'll be the kick in the backside that AvB needs to change things up and play to our strengths, maybe that is a standard 4-4-2 or a 4-4-1-1 and once that's working then we can perhaps start to look at 4-3-3 again.
Get the players comfortable first, then switch up accordingly.

We've not played 4-3-3 this season

Hopefully it will be the kick in the backside he needs to change his stubborn demeanor.

I think he did make some changes to the way he handled the players when he came to us last season than from when he went to Chelsea. Hopefully he realizes that similar changes need to be made now also as no formation change is going to wake us up. Confidence breeding confidence breeding confidence.

He needs to lead and galvanize others, especially the most vocal of our players -

Surely we have some leaders in our first team?

agree. ive said the same.

You can fool yourself, and some people, when ther is at least some room for spin following a bad result (possession stats, goalkeepers stopping our shots, still gelling). But you cant even pretend to yourself its working when you get totally fucked over.

Its better to lose 6-0 then 6 1-0 because we cant wheel out the same tired excuses that followed the newcastle game anymore. And we would see them wheeled them out after every 1-0 loss.
