Al Ittihad summer signing Jota could look to terminate his contract amid links with a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Jota is plotting how to leave Al Ittihad just months after leaving Celtic for a move to Saudi Arabia.

I wondered when players would start looking for a way out of Saudi
I read that he'd have his contract terminated almost a month into signing for them due to "lifestyle choices" but it seems like he's played a couple of games.

Good new transfer strategy. Get players to sign for Saudi teams and pick them up on the cheap.

No surprises really that Jota is fed up working under Nuno Espirito Santo already.

Always thought he looked great at Celtic - capable of scoring some absolutely amazing goals. Think he would be a good signing for us to come off the bench when we are chasing a goal. Especially now that Perisic is broken.

How is he able to just terminate his contract?
Presumably because the Saudi's have frozen him out of playing football, so may have breached the contract already.

That being said I know nothing about Saudi contract law, assume it likely falls under Shariah law, but who knows. Maybe the Saudi's have told him he can leave if he wants.

I don’t think we have room for him tbh, Solomon, Son, Deki, Richi, Johnson, Gil, Sessegnon, Véliz
