Wonder what the Notts County fans who bought shirts with his name on the back think of him?

Why can't it happen? If he is a free agent he can still join outside the transfer window?

I'd like to see Notts County refuse to release him, demand that he trains and plays on pain of a double his wages fine if he doesn't and insist that if he wants to go he must buy out his contract at 50% of his remaining contract, about £5.2million by my reckoning.

Make him pay!!

Ikky, he won't give a fuck about them.

Yes, but for stabbing you repeatedly in the kidneys? Having cheated on you repeatedly?

For no woman less than a Scarlett Johansson/ Megan Fox hybrid!

Genius

If Sol signs for us I will just poo all over Mr-T and throw him at Sol!

This thread is far too funny and positive, can we have a negative guy in here please?

By far the funniest thread in a long while, good stuff!

ps POO.

BBLG, in answer to your question I would smash her in, possibly anally, then dirty sanchez her and send her off packing.

Not sure what the equivalent could be in the Campbell scenario because he would actually enjoy that.

See that is alright, but taking her back isn't in my view.

I can't think of a Campbell equivalent :-(

Maybe we should just burn him.

Bringing Campbell back would solve a short term problem but would create far worse problems on and off the pitch. Won't happen for a truck load of reasons, one of which is Campbell wouldn't want to for a start.

I guess the reason he can't come to us means that he can't go anywhere else either so this may be his retirement.

I think we're (mostly) agreed it won't be happening. What do you make of his management aspirations? He wanted to get trained up by Sven. These days untried managers often get thrown into Premiership clubs and fired within a few months. I'd love to see that happen to Sol. Only with a club of Notts County's calibre instead.

The Football League have also confirmed that Campbell will not be able to sign for another club until January following his departure from Meadow Lane.

Time to move this to General Football?

It can stay here for now as people will want to discuss a possible or even hypothetical move back to Spurs no matter what the facts are. And you can guarantee we'd be locking new threads all evening otherwise :)

Thanks for the rep guys, in all seriousness i echo Harry's sentaments where he said..."if it was any other player then yes, but Campbell, NO" at the end of the day, you just can't go back after what Sol did. No matter if he is the nicest guy on the planet, once someone you let into your house, youf life and your hearts fucks around with your wife, they can take a running jump off the end of a pier fo all I care.

he will never be forgiven. he must have known that before he decided to jump ship. If he didn't, more fool him.
