Closest I've got to a silver lining is that, compared to past transfer windows, this doesn't feel like we messed up.
We did everything we could. Sadly Chelsea are in the CL and we aren't. That sounds like it was the difference.

I think it's obviously really important that we get rid of Sanchez, as far as we are concerned along with Dier he is a duff CB, Sanchez is the only one getting interest, if we still manage to sell him that's fine but Sevilla apparently really wanted Sanchez and they are an attractive destination for the player to go to.

Fingers crossed it all works out, but let's not pretend this Kounde zouma swap deal to chelsea isn't really bad news for us in more ways than one.

Also means Chelsea aren't blowing as much cash as we thought they would. It's a dream deal really.
