Plus all the times the opposition hit the woodwork vs us.
Well given that we only lost a handful of games by more than one goal, the 17 times we hit the woodwork was probably significant. Just for example, twice away to the Hammers, and once at home to them, plus Kane hit the post in our draws away to Newcastle and Everton. Toby also hit the post against the Toffees. There are 8 pts off the bat.

Pretty sure Stevie B hit post against Liverpool at 1-1

As for Kounde looks like Chelsea are going to go big on De Ligt. Could leave the coast clear for us on this one.

Pretty sure that was from a dreadful source.

In fairness to him, if he was a little shit at 8 years old I'm not sure that has too much bearing on who he is now. If he was 18 and kicking his mum in the legs after a loss then that's a different thing to being a petulant little kid, however crap a thing it is to have done. I'd wager we all have regretful behaviour from when we were literally children. I know I do!

So if he was this way at 9 and my kid is this way at 4.... hang let me do the math.

Carry the one.
Minus the skill.
Add the snark.
Divide by the tantrum equation.

Holy shit my kid's going to be the next Messi. Give me money Levy FFS.

This is a legitimate question, no snarkiness at all and neither was it in my tone of writing!!! .... its a genuine point of interest and as i mentioned we have been stung by Tanguy recently even though there were previous issues of his behaviour, its come to haunt us regardless of his undeniable talent. Im not saying Kounde gonna go kick his mum or a staff member etc ... but before we proceed maybe this area about his character/behaviour needs to be scrutinized further as a precautionary measure, as its an expensive buy again potentially (people may not regard it as we are swapping davison as purported if it happens but still valuation wise on the books its will be around the 70M mark)

Seems like the complete opposite of Tanguy tbh

Of course kicking your mum is not acceptable behaviour, but it smacks to me that his issues were borne out of frustration, and his desire to succeed.

Of course, constructive criticism should be considered helpful, and although something it appears he may have reacted to in a negative manner during his school years, I actually like the fact that the article pretty much shows that he cares about his performances in what he is trying to achieve.

I got sent off once when I was nine for arguing with the referee...in a charity tournament...in front of my parents. Nowadays that doesn't happen; my parents never come to watch.

I don't believe for one minute he used to kick his mum every time he lost a game, it sounds like a kid's temper tantrum, maybe his mum was trying to hold onto him or console him and he was trying to get away.
Much more common.
