He didn’t control him ffs. If it wasn’t for Higuain his inability to ‘control’ Costa would have cost us the tie.

Considering he lost him only a couple of times in the game, he wasn't that bad. I'm more concerned at his missed passes.
He makes a stupid pen, there's no debate there, but he's there fighting with Douglas. Trippier wouldn't have been anywhere near.

I have a terrible confession to make.

I woke up at about 7am (I'm in Australia), 10 minutes in to the game, looked at the score, and went back to sleep again. (In my defence, I was pretty tired and there's no coverage here so would have had to find a dodgy stream.) I obviously thought we were a bit fucked, but still went back to sleep dreaming we could turn it around.

I woke up again in the 82nd minute and couldn't work out whether I was awake or dreaming.

I never leave matches early or turn them off if we're losing. Never. Especially not one this big. Please forgive me. I'll say a thousand Hail Harrys and repent and watch every second of the return leg.

Damn, you keep missed the best bit - when we completely took over after going down 2 goals.

Hopefully, Gooners will show the same steel against Ostersund. It's near the Arctic Circle and they are from down south.

Had to send the missus to bed alone tonight, already shot my load over Dembele's performance. Brilliant!

We are a very very good side now. At 2-0 down I just knew that we wouldn't capitulate. I knew that if we could settle into the game that we would have chances. It was amazing, no panic, no arguing, the players have complete faith in themselves, in eachother and in the way that we play. We have now played Utd, pool, the scum and Juve and dominated them all for long periods. We have come back from terrible starts at 2 of the most difficult grounds in world football.

What a team we have.

Imagine what we could do if we started properly? ;)

The ref deserves a mention. Thought he was fantastic and very fair.

He's the best in the world right now. It's a shame Germany will probably keep him from the World Cup final because he deserves it.

Tie certainly far from over with their big names to come back in but loved this fight back fully deserved to go on and win it!

Waited years for a Spurs team like this finally a backbone to be proud of Dembele immense tonight and our attacks fluid, cutting and lethal.

Aurier is one who attacks better than he defends as said before Davinson Sanchez is a player who has all the ingredients to follow our King playing alongside the Rolls Royce that is Vertonghen these are quite frankly fantastic times for us COYS!!!

Shit player, no fucking brain at all, a complete liability.

The only reason he gets so much slack is because otherwise we have to admit how much we miss Walker.

Sad but true, I really want him to be good but I’m not sure he’ll end up being good enough for us.
