Marseilles couldn't afford him or his wages.

good business if he goes reminds me of a heavier version of john lacy - for me he is not good enought for the long term.
his ability to be out of position is his biggest downfall. kaboul and bassong out for ten million or so and a quality replacement would be ideal.

Didnt he say on twitter (assuming its really him) yesterday that this story was completely false and he has no intention of leaving?

Disagree, he is a quality player, recently played for the national team.
I expect him to become one of the best CB's in Europe.

The Big Man himself put on his Twitter (I know, I know) that it's complete crap.

I <3 Younes, so I hope that's right and he stays!

He should be the 1st CB on our team sheet, then King, Gallas, Dawson, Bassong & Khumalo

Why do we need anymore?

you cant be serious. Personally just do not rate him. would take five million today

Mate you cant be serious. If you cant see the enormous potential - and improvement in Kaboul since his return to Spurs, well there isn't much more to say.

First and foremost i am a spurs man and will always support who ever pulls on the shirt.

its just i cant see the improvement in the games i saw last season.

yes he is rugged yes he puts it about and yes scored the goal at the new highbury.

But for me he is not a good passer cannot read the game well gets turned to easily and often out of position

would keep bassong over him any day.

however being a CB is about partnerships and maybe if he can forge a partnership with someone he may get better.

for me king dawson gallas bassong then kaboul

its all about opinions

Kaboul > Bassong imo.

Kaboul is much improved since he rejoined us. Wouldn't be disappointed to see Bassong go.

To be fair it is about opinions, but I would say that his positiong and decision making have improved considerably. He was raw in his first spell at the Club but there is no doubt in my mind he has came a long way since then.

He can fill in at RB reasonably well, but his position is most definitely CB...I'm not sure if seeing him operate at RB in the closing stages of the season has affected your judgement somewhat

You're in the minority then. I see Kaboul as the natural replacement for Ledders. His positional sense has improved vastly, since his return, whilst his composure on the ball is excellent. He reminds me, not only of Ledders, but Ferdinand (Rio) as well.

I'm with Ethanedwards on this one, fully expect him to be one of the best in Europe in the next few Years.

He has the potential to become one of the best center backs we've ever had playing for Spurs.

He is young come on, he has the attributes of a top quality CB. CB is one of the positions that age and experience really matters IMO an older head is a cooler one and concentration is key. His positional sence and concentration will improve so much over the next number of years. I think Kaboul will be a number one choice is seasons to come.

Does anyone remember Ledley in his younger years, he wasn't the player he is today and made his fair share of indivedual errors, the problem is that at CB these errors are highlighted so much more.

And I think he'll be a revelation in a DM role; very much in the Viagra mode; plus he can score from long range as well as with powerful headers at set pieces.
