Yes, he's at it again.

http://www.football.fr/fr/footballfr/cmc/transferts/200819/kaboul-priorite-a-portsmouth_46170.html

Haven't got time to translate the whole bang shoot, but basically says that Ramos doesn't trust him, and that if he doesn't move on he'll be wasting his time. A lot of clubs were interested in him, but he wants to stay in the EPL and is very impressed by Pompey.

Oh, and Comolli didn't foist him on Jol. Martin and Damo were in complete agreement, and Martin went to see him play for Auxerre. The Comolli-Jol feud is a press invention.

This guy is a complete gimp!! Why would he ruin his career and keep slating the manager!! I say cut our losses now, he cant defend, and is a bit of a liability!!

I don't know. It always seemed a little strange that he disappeared off the face of the earth. I mean, not even a loan or playing reserves? Where's he been. There's been some talk of injury but then even the match reports stopped adding him to the players missing list. Very odd. If he's been completely frozen out, I'm only suprised that it has taken him this long to start making comments. If, he's been frozen out, well, he's right he needs to move on. He's potentially a fantastic player. I'm amazed we'd let him go so easy but what do I know...

we shoud keep him he is young and will get better he has only been here a short time and surely ramos can get the best out of him if he does go to pompey this could turn out to be another that we should have kept at WHL

I have to admit after paying 8 million for him I had expected a lot more from him this season. I do feel he is has potential, but at the moment he is no where near the likes of Ledley, Woody or even Dawson (even though he has had an indifferent season). Personally I thought when Zokora played centre back this year he did a better job than Kaboul. Still, its too early to get rid of him, lets give him another season and see if there are any improvements / he is given a chance in the team.

If he is going to continue bad-mouthing the club get rid of him, he can go to Pompey (our B team with JD, Davis, Pamarot, Mendez, Campbell) or even just let him play in the Reserves

He seems a bit of a billy big bollocks to be fair. When he was signed surely he knew he'd be behind King & Dawson. It was just lucky (for him, unlucky for us) that King was out at the beginning of the season and so Kaboul was picked as a starter. It should never have happened that way. He's a young, inexperienced player and should've been slowly bedded in. Once he got a taste for frist team footie, it's been tough for him to go back to being 3rd (sometimes even 4th/5th) choice

Bale aside, our signings last summer were shocking. Commoli should've got the boot not BMJ.

Boateng was shocking, Kaboul was overpriced - would've been find for £5m and long term.

Bent was overpriced, but then how many other proven premier league goalscorers can you gt for that money? I still think he's brilliant.

We should've spent the bent/kaboul/boetang money on players we actually needed, i.e. proven players in defense/midfied. We didn't need to score more goals lol!

However, if Berba goes then at least we've still got 2 strikers if noone else wants to join us, so perhaps getting Bent will in time prove to be sound business. Commoli should still go though IMHO.

But being fair, Defoe was always going to go, it just took another window for it to happen, I don't believe he was ever going to sign another contract, PLUS Keane/Defoe never worked, so had Berba gotten injured we'd have been fucked. I agreed with the Bent signing, it's too simplistic to think we didn;t need to score goals, Mido left, so we needed another 'big guy', Defoe was leaving so we needed another quick guy - in bent we got both. It's been a tough season but I see no reason to write him off, he's done as good as any 3rd choice striker this season.

I could see this happening, I cant see him not being sold now (I dont think Ramos rates him and he has been running his mouth now)

he would probably develop ok down there, what with Campbell and Distan to learn off and take the pressure off him (he wont be thrown in the deep end so much as he was here)

Diarra in some sort of swap could be a possibilty.

Kaboul is not good enough, plain and simple.
Bad scouting in the first place.
We need to get rid of all the dead weight at the club,
so Kaboul,Lee,Stalteri,Rocha,Cerny,Boateng,Gardner and Zokora all need to be shown the door.
:hello:

Zokora is pretty much first name on the team sheet for Ramos.

I know a lot of fans rate Zokora mate, but personally i don't think he is premiership quality.
He cant shoot,he cant pass a ball further than 10 yards without giving the ball away,he cant tackle and he cant read the game properly, all he can do is run for 90 mins, thats what we got for our £8m,an athlete.Plus,if it wasn't for Woody,he would have cost us the cup final with his shocking tackle on Drogba which led to the chelsea goal, and how could we forget the most shocking miss when he was 1 on 1 with cech,he had 2 bites at the cherry and still couldn't score.
Anyway enough about him,
Back to talking about Kaboul, who is just as bad as Zokora.

I don't think any of our signings were shocking at all. Neither Kaboul or Boateng were bought for first team. Boateng in particular said that his aim was to get 10 games this season, and imporve the next. He's done that just about. These players weren't bought to fix the problems in midfield and the centre of defence, but as prospects. That doesn't make them shocking signings, just means that we didn't get the players needed to really strengthen those positions immediately.

The Comolli feud is purely fabricated, the system in which we buy players has always been the same, no such thing as a Comolli/Jol/Ramos signing, it's all done between the team of 4, with the manager able to veto if i'm correct. No player is forced upon the manager.

Zokora has been our best player since the cup final.

Have you been watching the same games as me mate?
Don't make me laugh,What about when Heskey had him is his pocket when we played Wigan,he got turned inside out for the Goal,It doesn't matter what position he plays in,he isn't good enough.
What about Keano,Woody,Hutton,Stead. They put more effort in than that waste of space.
I really hope that Modric will take his place and play with JJ the middle.
Just because he talks a good game when he has an interview, that doesn't make him good player,
I'm afraid too many people have been fooled in to believing that he is a good player.
He has been our weakest link all season, and he stood out like sore thumb in the cup final.
END OF.

Zokoras passing stats this season have been very impressive -the past few games they have been in the 90's and I think someone posted that against Reading he had a 100% pass rate.I think your bias towards him has blinded your judgement because he has shown a great deal of improvement this season!
