Didn’t look like he got a touch, but I’d obviously like to see him win the golden boot again. So yes, great goal Harry!

I'm not sure as the only close clip shows nothing as the post is in the way...

Don't think there is a touch, if it is then it would have very slight.

Didn't think he touched it on the first few replays. Match of the Day slowed it down and you can see it slightly change direction. Ultimately, I don't think it'll make any difference to his chances of winning the Golden Boot. I don't see him making up 4 goals on Salah, who gets to play Bournemouth, West Brom, Stoke and Brighton before the end of the season.

Would that have been an own goal if he was a defender?
The power and direction of the shot was all Eriksen's. Kane was a decoy at best.

I know he desperately wants the 'boot' but he shouldn't be stealing other players' goals to do it.

As an attacking player, if he touched it then it's his goal. Defender have different rules otherwise keepers would be awarded tons of own goals. Long story short, his character, his body language and his reaction immediately after scoring make me feel that he thinks he scored so I believe him. Because of his character.

In the grand scheme of things, does it matter ? Ok he wants to win the boot but he's so far behind, with only 5/6 games left and Allah is in such a rich vein of form that its almost impossible to catch him.

No chance of catching Salah. It’s not like Kane scored 7 goals in his last 2 games last season.

Absolutely, and Allah's gone 5/6 games without scoring recently.

You didn't really engage your brain when you typed that out, did you ?

Has there been any further news on this? Are the premier league gonna award him the goal or has it been decided that the touch can't be proven?

Surely one of the first rules of any public statement coming out of the club, should be don't embarrass yourself. Spurs launching an official appeal for Harry Kane to be awarded a goal against Stoke, is definitely an embarrassment, for both club and player
