Can't believe he's going to start him ahead of Sturr... oh.. erm.. Sterli.. er, I mean Welbe.... oh...err...
Kane and Rooney then.

Don't get me wrong, Id have started him last game as well but as most of the team have picked up the mandatory 'ooh fk I feel a slight twinge but should be fine for the weekend' injury as per every international friendly game it's hardly surprising he's starting is it?
It was either that or play with 10 men.
Fkin disgrace half the team disappearing the min we go up against anyone half decent.
Sterling man. What a total shit that guy is.
Excited to see Kane and Rooney together though.
I really think that could work.

I would have thought that Woy would start him on the bench again weally, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Lets await the obligatory press stories about how Kane is a 'flash in the pan' or 'one-season wonder' when he doesn't score 12 goals in the game.

Although it is only a friendly this has to be good for Kane. Gaining experience against this type of defence and playing alongside (hopefully) Rooney he should learn a lot.
On a slightly different topic I have been pretty impressed with Rooney's comments re Kane. I think he is growing in to a good captain for England and is a good 'mentor' for the likes of Kane comng in to the squad.
