Harry Kane believes Tottenham's lack of summer business reflects the belief that they are good enough to contend with the same squad that finished 2nd in the Premier League last campaign.

I have no doubt in my mind that last years team was up there with the best, if not the best in the EPL. However, I do have real doubts they are up there with the very top European clubs. This leads me to wonder whether they will be able to compete in the EC and, in the EPL, against the likes of Utd, City, Chelsea and Arsenal teams for next season. They seem to be adding some seriously formidable talent. It seems a tad risky to me.

I trust in MP implicitly, but have to say I am starting to get a bit twitchy. I will feel less nervous if we added a couple of genuine proven top class players.

What we need to remember, this squad is pretty young and finish comfortable 2nd last season. I believe it was the youngest last season. We are in a good position to allow this team / squad to grow and blossom compare to others who really need to catch up.

We have a good thing going allowing our development players a path way into the first teams...if we just behave like sheep and follow the res,t it will disrupt our foundation that has been engineered for the greater good of THFC. We might need one maybe two addition and we're good to go trusting too Janssen N'Koudou Lamela Onomah Winks Kyle Walker-Peter maybe Edwards step up

Nice comments from Harry but then you would expect as an employee of the club to make such a standard an obvious statement.
I expect us to do ok in another season of transition playing in a stadium that isn't ours, that will inspire opposition players and where we have such a shit fucking record.
I would be happy with 6th I feel that would represent a good season outside of our own ground.

We will effectively be "outside of our own ground" the following year too. By that I mean that it will be all new to us.

Nice interview and what a decent chap....I know he's paid by the club and is expected to say the right things but he seems so honest and down to earth and clearly loves the club.....Top fella!!

Has for signing....always nice to bring 1 or 2 in to freshen things up and pushes current players to work harder, but I do believe we have a team that's now been playing together for a few seasons and got a great understanding and bond that we can/could easily cope without any new signing.
There will be new faces from our youth teams that will freshen up the squad so unless the right player for the right price appears I'd rather save our money and wait.
