Does anyone else think the guy is actually a pretty good player? He has certainly caught my eye this season...but maybe he just sticks out cause Wolves are a pretty average team.

Still, is a good with the ball at his feet and is an excellent finisher, works bloody hard.

He is a good player. I've always been impressed with him when he plays for Ireland. He is a very hard worker off the ball, and is a good all round player. He was good at Reading when they were in the PL too, don't forget, and they were a better side then Wolves. Definitely should be at a better team than one that's fighting relegation.

Good player, gives his all for club and country but just isn't prolific enough either for club or country.

agree, didnt rate him second season at reading after a good 1st. but this year he has proved a decent bit of business. He is very strong also and has great work ethic. Would suit villa imo and understand y they nearly signed him.

Surely won't be at wolves next season. His finish against West Ham was quality, pure composure.

He comes from Adamstown, Co.Wexford about 10 miles east of my family's hometown.
He is well revered over there, has bought himself a massive footballers mansion over beyond for himself and his wife-to-be.

"In November, 26-year-old Doyle was granted planning permission for a 9,000 sq ft mansion to be built on family land at Redinagh, Killurin, Co Wexford"

Seems a well grounded lad but I don't think I could forgive him for scoring against us in December - the blackguard !

He's really impressed me this season both for club and country. He shields the ball very well and can hold his own against the biggest of defenders. I guess the only question mark over him is his goal ratio, but he's done okay this season and I'll never grow bored of his finish last night.
