So annoying that it took a preperly long term Kane injury for us to finally sign a striker (assuming this gets done eventually).

Should have been done three years ago and we wouldn't be in this mess. Just another example of appalling squad management.

Why no one is holding Poch responsible for allowing Janssen to leave followed by letting Llorente's contract to run out? Even Kazaiah Sterling is allowed to go on loan. And yet Parrott only featured once for Poch at the defeat against Doncaster in the EFL Cup.

Seen an internet rumour that Milan want Foyth and Wanyama in exchange. Seems unlikely, but swapping two non-HG players that don't feature for one that goes straight into our starting XI whilst saving money for other necessary reinforcements seems like a great deal for us.

I like Foyth, but I'd take that deal if offered. So it can't be true.

I don't think I could ever blame a footballer or athlete for wanting to play at every chance possible. It's on the manager, medical staff, fitness coaches, and club hierarchy to utilize the players in the best way possible for the club and ensure their health and fitness.

Players don't pick the XI.

I agree with all of that, but I suspect Kane has more of a say in whether he plays or not than we think.

We offered them these two loans for them, and they rejected that. They don't want Foyth and Wanyama

Well... we signed Llorente off the back of a good season with Swansea, so...

Tottenham Hotspur are reluctant to pay the fee demanded by AC Milan for striker Krzysztof Piatek, The Athletic understands.

Milan are looking to recoup the £30 million they paid for Piatek last January, which could price Spurs out of a deal – despite the clamour for the club to bring in a striker in the absence of Harry Kane.

Piatek has scored just four times for Milan this season, though he has been far from alone in struggling for a side that currently sits 12th in Serie A.

Spurs are one of a number of clubs currently looking at Piatek, but the indications are that a deal will not happen unless Milan lower their valuation.

When asked on Friday about possible January signings in light of Kane’s expected absence until April, Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho said that while every manager always wants to bring new players in, his focus would remain on getting the most out of the existing squad.

Because we don't know if Poch had any say in it?

I just watched a bit of youtube of this guy and he looked pretty good so positivity, conversely on a more negative note the first half of that youtube footage he was up against another great hope for the window Kalidou Koulibaly who was having a bit of a nightmare. :cautious:
