Dejan Kulusevski has revealed it was no surprise that he registered an assist seconds into his Tottenham comeback against Liverpool. Out of action since September's international break with a hamstring injury, the Swede was introduced in the 68th minute and helped Spurs halve the deficit just over a minute later as he teed up Harry Kane.
His arrival transformed Tottenham and they did have a number of good openings to try and salvage a point from the game. Having missed 11 games through injury, the Swede has admitted that he usually make an instant impact on his return as he does tend to come back firing.
"It usually happens like this because if I'm out for a couple of times I come back stronger," he said. "I'm like a kid, I'm just happy to do what I do."
