Nice. Having him and yedders vying for RB is a boost.

Pace and recovery ability more than anything. His defending is sketchy but he does have the ability to recover and I'll take that as a leap forward for now.

"There was more good news as Bongani Khumalo has returned to training". What a great news, Poch must be very happy about this, now we surely have solved our cb problems.

Thank God. So the Mirror was right!

Bigger news...McEvoy, Oglivie, Sonupe and someone I couldnt quite recognize(Winks, maybe?) were involved while Oduwa looked on with the u21 staff.

BTW, was Khumalo injured or something? Like why wasnt he training all along? I didnt think he was in BAE's state where we dont want him anywhere close to the team for non footballing reasons....

One advantage Walker has over the majority of our players at the moment is... he tries. Sometimes too hard. But at least he tries.

I'd try him there. Walker/yedlin as FBs is the speed we need. Up and down the flanks all day long.

Azpilaqueta seemed to have made the swap ok.

Thats my thinking too. Shame to have Walker and Yedlin vying for one place in the side.

I'll be amazed if Yedlin is anywhere near the first team this season. Even Jurgen said it will take some time.

Naughton gets done a lot but he's fine as back up (for a few games at least)

Kyle Walker no saviour.

He will be rubbished on here within a month of his return.
True and he'll probably deserve it, but at least he's got the speed to recover from bad positioning and increase our speed of counter attack.

We badly need the pace.
