If it is true, their postponement should be a forfeit. If its also true that multiple Fulham players also went causing there outbreak, that should be a forfeit as well. If all clubs are aware of the situation, i’d imagine this is one of the reasons we’re said to be fuming at Fulham & the league.
On second thought, these forfeits would be getting into murky waters of hypocrisy seeing as how Everton players also apparently went to the party. Wrt us & Fulham, Lucas & Vinicius has apparently been in Covid isolation because of close contact with Gabriel. So none of the 4 clubs involved here seeming have been all that tight with the covid rules. This is a tough situation. Forfeits are probably the right call scheduling wise here but I think significant individul punishments need to be handed down(fines + match bans) and clubs should be fined.

As for Sancho, thats up to BVB to punish but I do think Southgate shouldnt take him to the Euros. Does that hurt England’s chances? Sure. But this is a MUCH more serious matter and football is extremely trivial compared to this. It’s really life or death for yourself and everyone around daily. Flights to England were banned from a ton of European countries. Taking a private jet flouting these bans to attend a fucking party is a disgrace and needs to be dealt with harshly.

Scheduling issues is down to the PL trying to cram too many games in.
If they haven't left the space for games that have or will need to be postponed, that's their issue.
The league season wouldn't have much difficulty being completed if they'd scrapped the cups and either made European knockouts single legged or scrapped them altogether.

It's the blind refusal of any party to give even the tiniest bit of leeway that is causing this.

The World Cup quals in March should absolutely not be played either but again, nobody's willing to give up anything.

If it is true, Walker need to be punished severely.
I know he's not the brightest but at a time like this, he cannot just go about pretending that the rules don't apply to him. It's not the first time he's done it.
Every player who attended should be fined by both the government and their clubs.
Acting like selfish, privileged twats and a time when the nation is suffering.

I would have rather seen European and international games scrapped this season.
At least then your traveling around your own country playing games. Not all around Europe...

But they needed to scrap something to ease the fixture congestion.

As for Walker, we all knew he doesn't thing before acting a lot of the time.

Southgate didn’t take action against Harry Maguire did he, so I doubt he will take any action against any other player.

He did drop greenwood and Foden though, but also he did drop Sancho, Abraham & Chilwell before recalling them next game.

No, but they do need that back up plan incase it does happen.

They'd probably rearrange fixtures so that a team had to play Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday if it came to it. It's not ideal, but Liverpool had to play two games in 24 house last season.

That's fine for a one off, but can't be done for say 4 or 5 games if a hand full of games are cancelled. I really hope we don't get many more cancelled which will solve the issue, but I can't see that happening.

Allegedly KW had this Xmas party. Players from Everton Man City and Fulham went. There were 19 Premier league players there now 11 have tested positive. FA Premier League and Clubs are fully aware of the situation and want to throw the book at the players for this. Expect KW to get a very lengthy ban for organising the party. This will all come out very soon. This is from a friend who works on the sports desk of a national paper....

Thank god no Spurs went (so far).

Deliberately ridiculous. How can you dock points from a team for the act of an individual during their private lives.

The problem is that to facilitate football to be played again, they were supposed to test a lot and stay in their team bubbles. Their private lives can not be separate from that - I will chuck in the old 'paid millions a year' argument to reinforce why they shouldn't be pissing it up with their mates from all over the place.

It’s supposed to have happened in London. But then that begs the question as to why he organised a party in London for players based in the North West. And why Fulham players and apparently Sancho. And if no Spurs players, why not?

I'm still very dubious about whether this is true. If you were going to make up a rumour about a player throwing a party he's the obvious one to go for after being caught out twice before.
If it is true then I can't imagine him being selected for England again for a while and I doubt Pep will want to play him either - especially as his mum died of the coronavirus earlier this year.

If it is true then the papers would be all over it. The fact that they arent, tells me it isn’t true. Although Man City have 5 players down with it so who knows?

Here’s another example then. Team coach is involved in crash and several injuries. The coach driver found to have been over the limit. Do you penalise the club x points for not fulfilling a fixture?
Anyone else miss Harchester United?

Not necessarily, an injunction might have been imposed and the Daily Star already Tweeted something about it only to remove it shortly after.

Wasn’t that the gay sex orgy in the north west, not the London party? There’s two separate rumours doing the rounds and I think people are confusing the two.
