Let's also not forget that last season he was so impressive with the way he got forward and offered up and alternative outlet in the oppositions half, whereas this season he is being asked to be more defensive minded at times which can only be good for his all round development.

Saw the tweet about him being in bed before and then straight after so fair play to him

I think he is getting better as the season goes on.
Agree with wizgell, due to the high line we play and him being our fastest defender he is having to curb his attacking runs, and so is playing a more defensive game than last year, which I also agree is good for his all round development.

Should be Englands RB. Fantastic performance yesterday. The goons foolishly targeted him and BAE as weak points and consistently got shut out.

Kyle Walker has to go.

Great going forward - clueless defensively.

Only weak link in the best Spurs side I have watched since Birkinshaw's side back in late 70's and 80's!

We threw it away.

Really, really the only weak link ? How old r u ?
Kyle is 100 times better in his position than either of our forwards. Difference is Kyle is young and will improve, can't say the same about Defoe or Ade.

Seriously, chill and stop your knee jerking. We lost a game, it happens.

3 posts in a row and one of them blank. Very impressive mate. I remember Burkinshaw as well and some of the right backs we have had since then were not fit to shine Walkers boots.

So he made a mistake. He'll learn from it. We should cut the kid some slack. He is a great prospect.

Well he hadn't learned from his other mistakes so what makes you so sure? The guy is a hot-head.

[Edit] Can the Einsteins who disagree with what I have said: a) point out where he has learnt from past mistakes b) show me how this guy is not a hot-head. If not then undo your shitty ratings. Thanks.

I wish he'd learn from it soon because he's made a number of similar mistakes this season and he doesn't seemed to have learned from them.

edit: to slow.

Bad mistake. He does it from time to time but he saves our asses much more often than he costs us. His pace getting back covers us multiple times a game, I think considering his age and the fact he'll undoubtedly get better, he can be allowed a gaff like that every 4/5 months

And I don't understand this 'he's great going forward but a liability defensively' stuff. He is pretty shit going forward, although he has gotten better.

Walker could be an absolute top class right back. Physically he's got the lot, pace, power, stamina, strength.... But the mental side of his game he is clearly lacking. He is prone to big lapses in concentration and today's mistake is right up there and ultimately cost us 3 points. I really want him to succeed with us, but what he did today was scandalous.

Unfortunately it's more like every 4/5 games.
