He threw himself about today. If he keeps doing that, the results will speak for themselves.

You've totally put my mind at ease.He threw himself about today. If he keeps doing that, the results will speak for themselves.
There was a glimpse of his talents again today its just frustrating.
The moment he skipped passed 3 players all he had to do was give it simple but instead he went to try the hard pass just to make himself look good I feel for him
Just started a thread with this...but felt this table could be deemed as appropriate for this thread. Not claiming that it shows he has been putting excellent displays in, but despite a couple of poor, although hard working, displays- across the whole season he has not been shit.
This is where the 'assist' notion comes a little bit grey round the edges. Unfortunately this table is straw clutching.
Do we know what his 4 assists are out of curiosity? Would assume one was the corner that Dier scored from?
Yes, one would be a corner-which is where Eriksens one assist in all competitions comes from as well.
Both were very good crosses, with very good finishes.

I didn't ask about Eriksen.
What were his others? Have to watch the Dier one again, remember it as a usual 'wasn't going to beat the first man corner' that was turned in. Not a great assist. Could be wrong though.
We used to do these tables for Crouch a few years back, strangely they never received the same amount of blind support/optimism.

I dont think has received any blind supportr, In fact it has peo[ple attacking him for being our second most productive player because they are not the right assists/goals or in the 'wrong' competitions.
I actually think it has gone the other way, and it is blind negativity around Lamela now. Refusing to accept any good aspect of his game.

Not sure what the issue is for counting a corner as an assist especially since we are so shit at them. The kid has started how many EPL games since he has been here? And people are wanting to get rid so quickly, it's laughable and nearly as laughable as Liverpool fans wanting rid of all their summer signings.
People need patience, we criticise the Chairman for having no patience with the Manager, but here we are as supporters having no patience for players.
