Not sure of this but can anyone confirm? I understand that the Arsenal victory means we start the Europa Lge in the play off round whereas if Hull had won we would start in the qualifiers?

I can't be happy about them winning a trophy but praise is due for Hull for the way they came out and took the early lead in such a positive way. It was just a shame they couldn't maintain it.

If we can bring home the Europa Cup, which I feel optimistic about for next season, it will top what the Gooners have done. I fervently want it to happen and I want CL football the following season.

Don't want much, do I...!

I couldn't care less what they do, if them winning helps us in some weird way then so be it. We need to focus on ourselves and not them. We are at an important stage where we have to appoint the right man and back him. I doubt yesterday will be the start of more success for them, as in my honest opinion Arsenal are nowhere near the quality of City, Chelsea and even Liverpool. They will all improve again this summer. Everywhere I looked this past week all the talk was Arsenal spanking Hull. That was NEVER going to be the case. Just look at how they scraped past Wigan in the semi-final. It was a cheap foul that got them back in it and even then for the majority of the game they barely threatened Hull's goal.

Sums it up for me as well, all i care about is what is best for Spurs and could not care less what the Arse do.

I think it is kinda pathetic on how our supporters behave, especially towards Arsenal. When I was younger, during the Gazza and Lineker days, we were very close in terms of club stature, income etc... Sure I disliked Adams and Co back then but now I've grown out of being a "hater" of them and I actually admire their club. Where as I absolutely despise Chelsea more than I ever did Arsenal.

The Arsenal have done everything in the correct and proper way on how a football club should be managed, they've continuously had to sell their best players, whilst still competing for trophies and building a new stadium. Everything Levy is trying to do is to emulate the way Arsenal have grown into the 3rd wealthiest sports club in the world, but by trying to improve on what they've done by learning from the mistakes they've made.

Obviously we all know a bunch of Arsenal supporters and they're intolerable when they're on the wind-up, but they've earned that right due to their successes and if the boot was on the other foot, I'm sure that we would be the same towards them.

We clutch at straws trying to get one up on them; "mind the gap" and the pathetic "9 years without a trophy" when during those 9 years, they've played in more finals than us, including a champions league final, but due to variance and other factors they never won, where as we did in one and lost in the other.

Fucking sickens me that they're now on 11 FA cups, and I was so proud when I was a boy that our 8 was the record.

Anyway, I have enough to worry about my beloved Spurs to give a rats ass about them...

stand up if you love Tottenham!

Edit: I never read Easley's post before I wrote mine.

So what are you 'trying' to say......that you agree with Waddle in 'hoping' they go on to win more trophies.?

Or are you just lubricated whilst enyoying the scum parade through North London.

Obviously I wanted Hull to win and in an ideal world, I would like Arsenal to be transformed into a West Ham-esque shitstorm. However, I do have respect for them, unlike Chelsea and West Ham.

I wanted to post what I wrote in the FA Cup final thread in general football, but I posted it in here.

What you have to realise is that Waddle has to act like a professional in the public eye, he cannot have the same emotional attachment than what you and I do. Also what you have to remember is that he's from Newcastle, so although he understands the rivalry between Spurs and Arsenal, culturally, it isn't the same to him as he was only with us for four season and during that time he was a paid professional.

However, if Sunderland won the cup, I doubt he would be singing their plaudits - this is due to his background and the stick he would get.

We'd be going mental if we won it

Pleased and Happy yes. FA Cup though died 30 (EDIT early 90's) odd years ago for me. Prefer the league cup now. just my personal opinion.

Now for me what Atletico did yesterday was outstanding
