heskey in and mido in and bent out are you on crack son ffs

You had to expect that. Mido has talent but he's a pain in the arse and hardly ever fit - probably because he grew up a millionaire and has always had a huge safety net. We were unbelievably lucky that those mugs at Boro paid £6m for him. Stuck our hand in a fire, found a tenner and managed to extricate before either burnt - why put back in ?

if Mido could stay fit he would be one of the best forwards around...

It takes Mido 6 months to loose weight and get back to fittness after he's been injured... and then he gets injured again.

I'd definitely take Heskey.

He's cheap, and makes everyone else around him better. He can hold the ball up and bring others into play better than anyone else IMO.

I'd also take Owen.

Oh my god - I've not been on this forum for some time, then I make a quick appearance and see suggestions that we bring Mido back. I'd rather feed my head into a meat mincer than have this happen.

I just can't believe that in the summer we were talking about the likes of Eto'o, Villa, Huntelaar and Arshavin and now we're listing Mido, Heskey and Owen as a wish list. Talk about going backwards. This is the problem with Spurs, we get good and dream of star players and a good finish, we have a few bad results and all of a sudden we're looking at shite. Man Utd have shown everyone how to do it for the last decade, buy a few top quality players and build some youngsters around them. I know people will say that we can't attract as good players, but that is what a scouting network is for! May I list Klinsmann (absolute steal), Berbatov (obv class but unproven in prem), Carrick (young but blatant class) and Davids (aging superstar) as examples of how to get it right in a number of different ways.

Mido.... lmao come on boys... and teddy, the only one of the above who i could see making an instant impact in the pl for us is villa, unlike heskey and owen who would straight away change the way we play. They are proven quality in the premiership, will add steel and most importantly goals to our attack.

I don't really want Defoe back.

I want a number 10, as others have suggested.

More importantly, that's what we need.
