A 3-1 win, curses!

Tottenham v Newcastle

Newcastle had a good win against Fulham last week and I reckon that most neutrals would want the Magpies to retain their Premier League status.
However, there is a massive difference between beating Fulham at home and taking on Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
Spurs are pushing on with their development all the time and in Aaron Lennon, Steed Malbranque, Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov, they have a really good front four.
I like coach Juande Ramos, who has had a long look at what he has and worked out what he needs to do over the summer.

Verdict: 3-1

lawro can't do anything right.

Last season when he predicted defeats & draws people called him a ****, but this season he's been largely favouring us, and yet we've played like shit

I think he'll be close enough with that prediction. Hopefully Woodgate has a blinder to show the barcodes what they missed out on

'I reckon that most neutrals would want the Magpies to retain their Premier League status.' - Lawro certainly has his finger on the pulse

As much as I dislike Lawro and his anti Spurs comments it's hard to dodge the fact that he is not too bad at predicting our fortunes.
3-1 sounds reasonable, but we know all too well what can happen if we fail to make possession count against the likes of Martins, Viduka and Owen.

If we'd played to his predictions this season we'd be sixth now!

I don't know why people say he's anti-Spurs. When he does make a criticism it's usually justified, and he's normally very complimentary—certainly a lot fairer than some of the wankers on Sky.

And yes, we do need to make possession and chances count. Last season they should have been dead and buried inside half-an-hour.

I want us to beat them so much! I've developed a real disliking of them for some reason. I would take such satisfaction from this win. But we will lose.:-|
